Hi, I am Ces, or ‘Chez’.
For a living I make multimedia content, working with brands and businesses to help them tell their stories through video, photography and podcasts.
This year I will be running the Kilimanjaro half marathon for the first time ever, (I’ve never ran 10km, let along a half marathon!). I’m doing so to raise money to support the amazing work that the Tumaini La Maisha organisation does to help children in Tanzania afford vital cancer treatment.
My aim is to complete the race with the least amount of damage to my body as possible, and so my grand-plan for staying safe throughout the race is to run along with my brother, who conveniently is a doctor. His name is Dr Furaha Serventi and he is an Oncologist and radiation Specialist who is currently the Head of the KCMC Oncology Department and the Cancer Care.
I am really looking forward to the race and I will be immensely grateful for all the funding support I can raise on this page
